 The Presbylite II RGP bifocal is manufactured by Pro Cornea in The Netherlands and imported into the United States by Lens Dynamics, Inc. This unique bifocal design, has a triangle shaped near segment that is cut spherically for near needs, a spherical zone that encompasses 70% of the front optics for distance needs, and a small aspheric area at the top of the triangle for intermediate tasks. The Presbylite II is a comfortable, thin lens design, that does not use truncation in its design. The lens has monocentric optics, with all optical cuts on the front surface. The normal base curve is spherical, single cut, but can be made with a base toric.
