BIOGRAPHY
Lens Dynamics, Inc.(LDI) has been manufacturing RGP contact lenses for 17
years. Designs have historically been in standard inter-palpebral, single
vision designs, multi-focal designs and bifocal designs.
In
1975 LDI started making keratoconus lenses with the Rose K design and
assisted in getting a 510 K approval from the FDA to marketing the design.
LDI filed a 510 K in 2002 for its Intra-Limbal designs and the FDA
approved that in April 2002. LDI is
a fully registered FDA laboratory and is audited annually by the FDA to
maintain its registration.
LDI
has also been ISO certified for 5 years. Certificates are 13485:2003 and
9001:2000.
LDI
is located in a modern office complex in
Wheat Ridge
,
Colorado
. The space is 3,500 sq ft,
with storage, manufacturing and office spaces.
Twelve people are employed in the company.
