1. Choose the closest appropriate
diagnostic lens from your fitting set based on the patient's mean K
reading and the Base Curve/Diameter Selection Chart.
2. Check lens position, speed of
return after blink, and fluorescein pattern.
3. If lens-to-cornea relationship is
not adequate, choose a different diagnostic lens.
4. If lens fit is appropriate,
over-refract using trial frame.
5. Order lens by curve, diameter,
distance power, and add power.
